- After living in Fulton County, NY as a schoolteacher, she came to Honeoye to teach at Honeoye High School for several years. Her married life was spent at the farm home on West Lake Road, until she became an invalid eight years before her death. Lillian was active in community affairs, a member of the Honeoye Congregational Church and Ladies Aid, Past Matron of the Eastern Star, and a charter member of Honeoye Valley Grange. During the early part of the century Lillian cooked for those people passing through Honeoye, that need a good home cooked meal.
- Mrs. Lillian M. Briggs of Honeoye is one of the delegates to the Republican State convention to be held at Saratoga on the 27th.
