  Notes	Avoca, Mar. 19—Mrs. Anna Shaut, 75, died a t the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oliver Stevens, Monday a t 8 p. m. after a n illness of several months, as the result of a broken hip received in a fall at her home in Bloomerville. She was born here July 16, 1855, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Davis. The greater part of her life has been spent in this vicinity. In early life she married Timothy Shaut of Wheeler and to them were born two sons and three daughters. For many years they resided upon a farm In the Shaut District, two miles east of Avoca. For 15 year they had resided in Bloomerville, three miles west of Avoca, where his death occurred in 1922. She had been a member of the Avoca Presbyterian Church for many years. She is survived by the two sons, Fred J. of Wallace and Lewis of Kanona; two daughters, Mrs. Nora Loohn of Hornell and Mrs. Oliver Stevens of Avoca; a brother, Joh n Davis, of Cohocton, and one sister, Mrs. Edward House of Kanona, and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Oliver Stevens, Thursday at 2 p. m., the Rev. S. R McKinstry of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
