  Notes	ARKPORT — A funeral service for Charles C. Stewart of 33 East Ave., brother of Mrs. Bertha Jacobs of Wellsville, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Robertson Funeral Home, Hornell. Mr. Stewart, 73, died Tuesday in Bethesda Hospital where he had been a patient for one day. A native of the Town of West Almond, he was a farmer. He resided most of his life in the Town of Almond and West Almond, having lived in Arkport the past three years. In addition to his sister in Wellsville, he is survived by his widow, the former Polly Rossmann; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Carnes of South Dansville and Mrs. Gerald Welty of Hornell RD 2; five sons, Elery of Arkport, Lloyd of California, Paul of Canisteo, Linford, at home, and Harold of Lockport; 21 grandchildren; and two other sisters, Mrs. Sidney Coombs of Angelica and Mrs. Mabel Northrup of Hornell.
