- Mrs. Cora Keefer Stevenson, 79, of 203 Van Buren Street, widow of M.R. Stevenson died at 5:50pm Tuesday in W.C.A Hosptial where she had been a patient since Dec 13, 1951. Mrs. Stevenson was born in Titusville, PA March 7, 1874. She was the daughter or Henry A. and Nora Keefer. She had been a resident of Jamestown 43 years. Her husband, the late Mayne Reid Stevenson, a former partner in the law firm of Fisher, Wade and Stevenson, preceded her in death on Oct 18, 1946. Mrs. Stevenson was for many years a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church and sang in the church choir. She was an accomplished musician and took an active interest in the civic and musical life of the community. A woman of gracious presence and charm. Mrs. Stevenson endured the weary months of her long illness with a fortitude and grace, which has been a noble example to everyone who knew her. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Cora Keefer Batchelder, who spent her girlhood in Jamestown with the Stevensons, and Mrs. Marie K. Black, Pasadena, Calif. Friends may call at the Partridge Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

- Funeral services for Mrs. Cora K. Stevenson, 79, of 203 Van Buren Street, who died Nov. 24, were held at 2 PM Saturday at the Partridge Funeral Home. The Rev. Gilbert VanBever of the First Presbyterian Church officiating ad burial in Labe View Cemetery. Bearers were C. Lynn Rowley, Charles J. Enrgott, Moreland Lazler, Marvin L. Clapp, Edward R. Herrrick and Leonard P. Crissey. Present from out of town were Mrs. Marie K. Black, Pasadena, Calif., Edward Reid Herrick and Miss Elizabeth Herrick, Conneaut, O.
