  Notes	Martha and Sidney Linton started their married life living with her parents, in Groveland. After six years they purchased the Stapley house and moved to East Groveland(Hunts Corners). This house was sold by Martha to her son George and he later sold it to the "present" owner, Mr.Donahue(1969). After Sidney's death in 1937, Martha, after selling the home, lived alternately with her two youngest daughters, Norma and Betty, until her oldest daughter, Mary Frances died in 1963, leaving Martha the old Harrison place in East Groveland. She lived there until 1969 when she sold the Harrison farm and moved to a smaller house in Geneseo. Then in 1974 she removed to Avon and lived with her daughter Marion. Sidney was a Thresher all his life, operating two rigs throughout the Genesee Valley. He also owned an operated the only store in East Groveland. The store was situated at the five corners fork, later known as the Corner Store. At one time a blacksmith shop and ice house were connected to the store.
