  Notes	A funeral service was conducted in the Chamberlin Funeral Home Sunday for Mrs. Sophie C. LaRouette who died in the Dunham Nursing Home Friday (Dec. 7, 1962). Mrs. LaRoutte, 88, had been in ill health for the past three years. She was born in West Sparta and had resided in that area her entire lifetime. She served as tax collector for that township for 3 years until her retirement in 1959. Surviving are two brothers, Glenn Hamsher of Dansville and G. Herbert Hamsher of East Rochester. The Rev. C. Dalton Scott, pastor of St. Peter?s Episcopal Church officiated. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. (DB, December 11, 1962, p1)
