Born, Nov 13, 1866, in the town of Groveland, Mrs. Pierpont lived most of her life at the family home, 40 Second St., Geneseo. She was the daughter of Richard and Mary Wells Gray. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church, Geneseo. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Mary F. Pierpont of Ossining and Mrs. James H. Allen, Kenton, Ohio, also a grandson, James Pierpont Allen of Kenton. Funeral services will be held today at the home in Geneseo at 2pm with the Rev. Joseph Sunter of Bergen and the Rev Alan Perrine, Geneseo, officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery, Geneseo. (Democrat and Chronicle, Rochester, NY, Thursday, October 2, 1952)
