- NORTH ATTLEBORO - Germaine C. Hindle, 106, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Hindle.
Born Dec. 6, 1909 in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Pierre and Corinne (Dussault) St. Laurent.
Germaine grew up in Fall River where she attended Durfee High School and was a devoted homemaker raising her five children. She also worked at C. Ray Randall in North Attleboro for 10 years.
She was a talented seamstress and also enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
She is survived by five children: Carol Malcolmson of North Attleboro, Paul Hindle of Cumberland, Robert Hindle and his wife Patricia of North Attleboro, Richard Hindle and his wife Virginia of Cumberland, and Jeanne Stone and her husband Wayne of North Smithfield, R.I.
She's also survived by 13 grandchildren: Sue Ellen Lebeau of South Attleboro, Linda Dalton of South Attleboro, Jody Feingold of Attleboro, Gregory Hindle of Attleboro, Laura Hindle of Cumberland, Derek Hindle of North Attleboro, Kimberly Cateon of Assonet, Cory Lee of Cumberland, Vicki Cavanaugh of Rehoboth, Amanda Hindle of Cumberland, Brandon Hindle of Cumberland, Shawn Stone of Texas, and Bethany Stone of North Smithfield; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was grandmother of the late Judy Manzo and Justin Hindle and was predeceased by her five brothers.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 2-4 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro.
A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass in St. Mary's Church, 14 Park St., North Attleboro, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
