  Notes	NEW BEDFORD -- Imelda (Gagnon) Lapointe, 85, formerly of Westport and Lafayette Place, Fall River, died May 11, 2000, at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. She was the widow of Charles Lapointe. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna (Bazinet) Gagnon. She lived in Fall River for most of her life, and in Westport for many years. She was employed by Crywood Manufacturing and Fall River Knitting Mills. Survivors include two sons, Joseph C. Lapointe of East Windsor, Conn., and Henri "Pete" Lapointe of Fall River; a daughter, Lucille Beaulieu of Fall River; a brother, Eugene Gagnon of Fall River; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Claire Copass and sister of the late Emma Goyette Rancourt, Yvonne St. Laurent and Omer Gagnon. Her funeral will be at 8 a.m. Monday from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main Street, Fall River, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Notre Dame Church, Eastern Avenue. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
