  Notes	FALL RIVER -- Raymond F. Powers Sr., 102, of Cherry Street, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at Catholic Memorial Home. He was the widower of Catherine C. (Lynch) Powers. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Carroll) Powers. He was a 1915 graduate of Durfee High School and a 1917 graduate of Wentworth Institute. A communicant of Sacred Heart Church, where he was very active in church affairs, he was a member of the Sacred Heart Senior Citizen Club. Mr. Powers was a member of the Knights of Columbus for more than 75 years and was the oldest member in Massachusetts. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus bowling league. He was employed at Mount Hope Finishing Co. for more than 30 years, and later taught mechanical drawing at Durfee High School. He was an avid Red Sox fan, and he enjoyed swimming at Horseneck Beach. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Ann Halbardier of Maryland; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was father of the late Raymond F. Powers Jr. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Jeffrey E. Sullivan Funeral Home, 550 Locust St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Linden Street; burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
