  Notes	Charles Roger Burdett, 81, of Ridgecrest, California passed away peacefully on December 23, 2015. He was born in Hornell, NY in 1933 to Charles and Emily Burdett. He served in the Air Force as an Aircraft Flight Line Electrician from 1953 to 1957 two years of which were served abroad during the Korean war. He was preceded in death by a son, Ray. He is survived by two daughters, Juliann and Janet, three grandchildren, Rebecca, Jonathan and Nathaniel and one great-granddaughter Natalie. When he was younger he enjoyed building small electronic devices for fun and even made a hot dog cooker which made the best hot dogs. He enjoyed NASCAR, Big Band music, NASA, outer space, aliens and especially loved saxophone music and discoveries about the planet Mars. He enjoyed attending all our sons soccer games and was a great grandfather. We are deeply saddened by his passing and he will be greatly missed.
