Plot: HulbertNotes - From Marilyn Lemen, dated 9/26/2007: I was just reading some of my Great Grandfather's journal for Sun., July 9, 1922 in which he states that Charlie Burdett & family visited at his home on West Ave. in Dansville and spent a pleasant day. Afterward Lena, Elmer and Lorenzo accompanied Charlie to his home in Hornell. They rode to C. A. Burdett's after dinner. Charlie drove Lena, Elmer and Lorenzo to Allen Burdett's & ate supper and stayed the night. They ate breakfast and dinner at Allen's. Then they went to Lloyd Burdett's where they ate supper and remained for the night. Then ate breakfast at Lloyd's and dinner at Donald Burdett's. Donald, who worked at the Post Office, drove them to Fred Burdett's, where they ate supper and remained for the night. They remained the next day & Frank, Pauline & Beatrice came in the P.M. On Sun. the 16th of July, Murray Burdett brought them to Hornell and they took the bus to Dansville. "There ending a pleasant visit with our relatives. It may be the last as I am living on borrowed time." On Fri., Aug. 25, 1922 it was supposed to be the Burdett reunion at Hedgehurst, but some couldn't make it so it was deferred. Just a little about the family and how they kept together after Abby's death.
