    Notes
    • Fred lived in Big Creek all his life on the same farm owned by his father, now known as the Ebert Farm. A story related told by his daughter Gladys was when Fred bought a new Model T and want to go for a ride and show it off a bit. He decided he wanted to go over to his cousins on Oak Hill in South Dansville, but his wife had other ideas as she didn't want to go over there because they "had money." They all went over anyway, Gladys doesn't remember which cousins it was.
