  Notes	Mr and Mrs Clarence Nichols lived in Poag's Hole, South Dansville, NY where they owned a farm around the turn of the century. About 1940 until her death, she was living at the Struble Home on the Conesus Lake Road. Mrs. Lena Nichols, widow of the late Clarence Nichols passed away Monday afternoon in the Rochester General Hospital. She was 80 years of age and had been a resident of Dansville for many years. They owned and occupied a farm at the upper end of Canaseraga Valley. Deceased is survived by a grandson, Corp. Elmer Smith of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from Wilson-Altmeyer's Funeral Parlors. Rev. Charles Williams, pastor of the Methodist Church will officiate, and burial will be in the family plot in Greenmount Cemetery. (Dansville Breeze, Wednesday, March 22, 1944)
