  Notes	A Ferryman. lived in Charlestown,MA John Ross and John Scolley both married daughters of James Barrett, and they apparently conducted their enterprises in common. They jointly bought land in Reading in 1671 which they sold in 1687, having possessed the same for about sixteen years, but there is no evidence that they lived in Reading, at any time. Both John Scolley and John Ross, with Mary the wife of John Ross, signed the deed for the sale of this land. Hannah, the wife of John Scolley having died before 1678. After 1687 no further trace of any of these people can be found.
