- Rolland (Ron) L. Collister, 45, of Franklin Street died Saturday (Apr. 20, 1991) in his home after a long illness. He was born Aug. 23, 1945, in Dansville, a son of Eleanor Dye Collister Hartman, who survives, and the late John E. Collister. He was a correction officer at the Groveland Correctional Facility. Prior to that he had been employed at the Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. plant in Dansville for 15 years. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam war, Mr. Collister was a member and past commander of Daniel Goho American Legion Post. He also was a member of the Frank Casbolt Memorial Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Dansville. He was a longtime member and past officer of the Jackson Hose Fire Co. and was a member of the Livingston County Volunteer Firefighters Association, the Western New York Volunteer Firemen
