Surviving are his widow, Mary Lena Nichols, one daughter, Miss Maude Nichols of Rochester and one brother, Julian Nichols of Ossian. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the home at Poag's Hole at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 from the local Methodist Episcopal Church, the Rev. Vaughn H. MacArthur officiating. Burial will be made in Greenmount Cemetery. Mr. Nichols was a member of Oak Hill Grange and a life-long member of the local M.E. Church.
