Bernice was born in Dalton on Dec. 20, 1913, a daughter of the late Earl and Maude Hulin Ames. On July 14, 1951, she married George C. Kreiley, who predeceased her on Dec. 15, 2002. She was also predeceased by her son Charles Kreiley, son-in-law Dick Feathers; brothers Darwin and Lyman Ames; and three grandchildren: Dawn Burr and Matt and Don Kreiley. Bernice was a life member of the Sparta Center United Methodist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher, choir and Library Committee member and a member of the United Methodist Women
