Josephine became the older sister to three half-brothers: George Jr., Robert C., and William L. Trill. Josephine married Lorin Manton Pierucci on 2 Dec 1920 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Eight children were born to the couple: Lorin Jr., Mary Jane, Harriet, Charles Celso Alfesia, Barbara A., Charlotte, George William, and Robirdie. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two daughters, Charlotte and Harriet.
