  Notes	Death of An Old Resident. Harmon Nicholson, one of the oldest residents of this town, died home "on the turnpike" yesterday at the advanced age of 79. Though poor health for several months past he was not considered seriously ill until about a week ago. He had lived nearly sixty years on the farm on 'Nicholson Hill' where he died and was the oldest of seven brothers, only one of who preceded him in the journey to the silent land. (Edmund Nicholson died on Decoration Day a year ago and the able fact was noticed then, that he was borne to his grave by six surviving brothers, all advanced in years). Ihey were all of the family of Jonathan L. Nicholson who from the Wyoming valley, in Pennsylvania, to Newtown, now Elmira 1823 and again to the Canisteo wilderness, where they made their home on the hill which bears their name, in 1830. Mr. Harmon Nicholson like his patriotic father, has lived to a good old age and has seen his children's children grow up around him. He has always borne a respected name in this community and by a life of industry, thrift and honest dealing has gathered together a fine property.
