Crahen and his wife embarked by train from Beloit to their cottage at Kogonsa, with the family dog, a cat and two kittens in tow; the animals were in the baggage car, and during the trip they escaped their confinement; the cat found its way into the cab of the train's engine, the kittens were crawling around on the coat racks, and the dog chased the baggagemen onto the roof of the car; the commotion delayed the train 20 minutes and cost Crahen a goodly sum to pay for the damages...."
