- Albert Gagnon, 68, of Nelson Street, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at
Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret (Dunlea)
Gagnon; they were married 34 years.
He was the son of the late Conrad and Edmee (Viens) Gagnon.
He was a lifelong Fall River resident.
He graduated from BMC Durfee High School and worked as an electronic
technician at Raytheon Co. in Dighton and Waltham for 40 years.
Mr. Gagnon was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Tiverton, R.I., an avid
bowler and enjoyed golf.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mary Beth Silvia and her
husband, Kenneth, of Fall River; a son, Jeffrey A. Gagnon and his
wife, Veronica, of Dartmouth; two grandsons, Benjamin A. Silvia of
Fall River and Noah A. Gagnon of Dartmouth; a sister Annette St.
Pierre of Fall River; a brother, Andre Gagnon of Maynard; and several
nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Henry Gagnon, Normand Gagnon, George
Gagnon and Robert Gagnon.
His funeral will be at 9 a.m., Saturday from the Auclair Funeral
Home, 690 S. Main St.
His Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Stafford
Road.
Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
