  Notes	Edward A. Holmes Sr., 79, of 7 Wilmot St., Dansville, died unexpectedly in his home Friday (Nov. 3, 1972). Born in Conesus, he had lived in Dansville for the past 25 years. He had been a farmer in the Springwater area for most of his life. He is survived by two sons, Harold and Edward Jr., both of Dansville; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Mueller of Williamsville and Mrs. Virginia Hill of Livonia Center; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian White of Conesus and Mrs. Marguerite Wallace of Springwater; eight grandchildren, a great-grandson and one step-granddaughter. A memorial service was conducted in the Baird Funeral Home in Wayland. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, South Livonia. (GCE, November 9, 1972, p13)
