  	Ontario Repository-Messenger, Thursday, October 11, 1894, page 8. Bristol, Oct 9 - Last Wednesday people were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Thodie Sleight. He had been ill but a short time and at last reports was better, but he was taken suddenly worse. The nature of the disease made it necessary that internment should take place at once. He leaves a young wife and little child. The members of the Jerome family who have been ill with the same disease are reported to be better. The Naples Record, Wednesday, October 10, 1894 Theodore Sleight, Jr., of Bristol, died of malignant diphtheria on Tuesday, Oct 2. It was thought best to hasten the burial, which took place in Lake View some time during the night.
