  Notes	A last rite was conducted Saturday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church here for Mary Jane Bennett, 84, of Groveland who died Wednesday (Oct. 6, 1982) in the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo following a long illness. Born in Conesus, she had lived in Groveland most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. An avid hobbyist, she enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was a plant enthusiast and had more than 450 African violet plants in her home at one time. Surviving are a son, F. Kenneth Bennett of Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Tarkington of Batavia and Mrs. Katherine Clark of Addison; a brother, Lee Watson of LeRoy; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland. Funeral arrangements were by the Hindle Funeral Home of Dansville. (Genesee Country Express, October 14, 1982, p7)
