Price, wife of Jonas Price of this village, died at her residence on Jefferson St. on Friday morning last, after a short illness, aged fifty years. Mrs. Price's maiden name was Hartman and she was born in Ossian on what is known as the Bryant place, and marrying in 1848 she has since resided in this vicinity. Her husband and two sons, Morgan A. Price of Hornellsville and Lester M. Price of this village survive her. Mrs. Price was a member of the Presbyterian church, and a most devoted, consistent Christian, whose example was worthy of imitation and whose presence will always be missed from the home and from church. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Ward officiating and she was buried in our beautiful city of the dead.
