- More likely the Robert Henry Jr, merchant of Albany NY. There is a newspaper article published in the Rutland Weekly Herald, Monday, November 13, 1797 title: ROBERT HENRY JUN'S ESTATE --- "The subscribers being appointed by the Honorable William Ward, esquire, Judge Probate for the district of Fairhaven commissioners to receive and examine the claims of the creditors to the estate of Robert Henry Jr, merchant of the city of Albany, deceased, represented involvement- Hereby give notice, that they will attend to the business of their appointment on the second Tuesday of November, and the first Tuesday of December next; and the last Tuesday of January 1798, at the dwelling house of Andrew Henry, in Pawlet, in the county of Rutland, and state of Vermont, from the nine to six o'clock, on each of said days. No accounts will be allowed unless properly attested. Commissioners: Samual Lattrop, Gideon Adams, Benoni Smith. Pawlet, 2d October, 1797"
The above sure appears that the Robert in Albany is a close relation to our Andrew Henry, unless there are two Andrew Henry's. Which may be the case as there was an Andrew Henry (from Ireland) marrying Polly Osborn in Pawlet 1802. If there was not two Andrew Henrys in Pawlet, this would mean that Mary Evans died before 1800 and the Mary buried in Hector with Andrew is actually Polly/Mary Osborn (or the record is transcribe in error). Another theory is that Andrew married to Mary Evans as his second wife and that the Robert Henry b.1789 and married Mary's daughter from her first marriage was actually Andrew's son from his first marriage. Taking another look at this whole Henry family links is it would appear that Andrew was the son of Robert Henry Jr the merchant was kinsman to Robert R. Henry (Surgeon in Rev War)
DNA: Note my father is DNA matched (17 cM across 2 segments) to a descendant of Cornelia (Henry) Millman as 4th cousin, once removed. However, the same person is not shown as matched to a descendant of Frederick Evans (brother of Mary Evans) as my father is 5th cousins, once removed. The significant means that Cornelia descendants are not related to the Evans family and therefore Mary Evans is not Cornelia's mother (that Polly Osborn is). However, this could be due to the weakness of the DNA at that distance. Still does not disprove anything.
