Also living in the house are his sons Samuel, Frederick, and granddaughter Florence M.(aged 14) Riley B. Miller - On Sunday morning, March 17, at his residence at Starrucca occurred the sudden death of Riley B. Miller, aged 67 years and six months. Deceased is survived by his wife, four sons and four daughters, namely: Charles of Deposit, NY; Harry of Honesdale; Eliza of Delhi,NY; Mrs.John Ackin of Bovina Center, NY; Mrs Walter Schoonover of Long Eddy,NY; Mrs. Alonzo Wood of Starruca; Samuel and Fred at Home, all being present at the funeral with the exception of Mrs.Ackin, who on account of sickness, is a patient in Bellview hospital. Mr. Miller was 32 years a resident of Lookout and an employee of Joel G. Hill. The funeral was held from the residence at 1:30 o'clock and from the Starruca M.E. Church at 3 o'clock on Thursday, March 21st, Rev. B.F. Larrabee, officiating; interment in the cemetery at Starruca.
