Miss Mary Catherine Krein
Dansville, Aug. 7 — Miss Mary Catherine Krein died last evening at the Krein homestead in Clay street. Miss Krein was born in Dansville and has always lived here, she was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Krein and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Court of the Amaranth. Besides her aged mother, Miss Krein leaves two brothers, Assistant Postmaster George I. Krein, of Dansville and James E. Krein of New York City, two sisters, Mrs. Chas. H. Rowe, of Rochester and Miss Elizabeth Krein of Dansville. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon from the family residence at 2:30, Rev. Mr. Hakes of the Episcopal Church and Rev. Mr. Zeller of the German Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Greenmont cemetery.
