Longford, Ireland, arrived New York State, USA 1796. Married Margaret Unknown, lived in vicinity of Geneva, Ontario, NY ca 1800 - 1820 children: ohn M. Denniston (my ancestor), Elizabth b. ?, Rebecca b. 1808 Geneva, Ontario Co., NY, Margaret b. 1812 Geneva, NY, Henry b. ?, Samuel b. abt 1817 on Grand Island, NY Note: The family lived on Grand Island until the governor of NY state had them evicted as "squaters" in about 1835. They moved into Ontario, Canada around Elgin Co. and then across to the Detroit area of Michigan State. Both Samuel Sr. and Samuel, Jr. died in Michigan. There are several family trees on the internet about this family.
