  Notes	Mrs. Belle Lander, an old and respected resident of this place, died at her home here early Sunday morning. She was the widow of the late Christion Lander who passed away March 25, 1925. Mrs. Lander was born on Sandy Hill March 5, 1852. She was united in marriage to Christian Lander April 25, 1871, and to them were born eleven children, nine of whom are still living. Mr. and Mrs. Lander lived on their farm until twenty-six years ago when they moved to South Dansville. Three years ago, they celebrated their golden anniversary. Mrs. Lander was a devoted member of the Lutheran church at Perkinsville and a member of the Ladies Aid society of that place. She was a woman of sterling character and was highly respected and will missed by a large circle of friends. She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. George Pfaff, Mrs. George Kurts, Mrs. Charles Gottschall and Mrs. Claud Flint, of South Dansville, Mrs. Frank Lander of Rochester, and Mrs. Lloyd Haynes of Arkport, apd three sons, Irving Lander and James Lander, of South Dansville, and Daniel Lander, of Dansville; and one brother, David Lander, and twenty-six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, a prayer at the house - by Rev. E. C. Look and the funeral service at the church at Perkinsville conducted by Rev. C. M. Karg, Lutheran minister of Dansville, and was attended by a large concourse of people, Interment at Perkinsville. (HORNELL EVENING TRIBUNE-TIMES, Friday, March 19, 1926)
