  Notes	From Diane Brown, April 2004: "I've since scrounged up my baby book. He was Frederick Reuban (Reuben?) Litchard, born in Capac MI and married Helen Marion Scott (b. 1882 in Sault Ste. Marie MI) in September 1908. A few months later he was killed. I have some newspaper clippings somewhere. My grandmother returned to "The Soo" after his death, and my mother was born there. She was married three times, to 1. Everett Glaze, 2. John Clearwater, and 3. Clair Brown, my father. I'm the only child Diane Eleanor Brown, born 1950, in Salem OR. I have no children, so there's the end of that line. After Fred's death, my grandmother and her brothers went to Alberta, ostensibly to homestead, but not much ever came of that. She remarried to Joseph Marsh of Southport, England around 1912, and they settled in Medicine Hat and had two children, Helen (b.1913) and Paul (b.1917). Helen married Wallace Foss and moved to Lethbridge AB where they had two sons, Bury and Martin. I presume she's dead, but don't know. Paul married Verona (don't remember surname) but from Gleichen AB, followed Eleanor to Salem, Oregon, and they had three daughters: Lois and Leone (twins), and Patricia. He died c.1960."
