  Notes	Edna Allen was said to have been adopted by Abner, and may have been the natural daughter of Abner's wife Martha. Edna died shortly after her marriage. Newspaper articles not several entries from the fall of 1901 to spring of 1902 that she was very ill and at one point surgery performed. I don't find any notice of her death - had been living with the Decker family during her long illness. There was a rumor by the Allen family that she was murdered by her husband, Harvey Jones.
