He was a WWII Army Veteran, a member of the Harrison-Lee American Legion Post #283, the VFW in York, the York Sportsmans Club. He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1968. He was a truck driver for over 57 years. He is survived by his children Fred (Judy) Deming, Jr. of Honeoye, Daniel (Ho Ho) Deming of Coppers Cove, TX, David Deming of Weekiwachee, Fl, Gerald (Sharon) Deming of York, NY, Bonnie (John) Gibson of Springwater, NY. Sister Bernice (Alexander) Greer of Rockingham, NC. 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 2-4, 7-9 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Route 15, Livonia. Graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 am at St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon, NY.
