  Notes	A funeral service was conducted Sunday in the Walter E. Baird and Sons Funeral Home in Wayland for Herbert D. Mitchell of Wayland RD 2 who died Thursday (Aug. 6, 1981) in Highland Hospital, Rochester. Surviving are his wife, Grace Mitchell; nine daughters, Mrs. Nancy Dailey of Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Harriet Quick, Mrs. Sara Furia and Mrs. Alberta Didas, all of Wayland, Mrs. Jane Allen of Atlanta, Mrs. Margery Whiting of Avoca, Mrs. Marian Clark of Perkinsville, Roxanne at home and Lisa with the U.S. Navy in San Diego, Calif.; four sons, Herbert Jr. of Wayland, Theodore of Dalton, Peter and Thomas of Wayland; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Neu of Wayland, Mrs. Nellie Thorpe of Holcomb and Mrs. Mae Finch of Atlanta; 23 grand-children and nieces and nephews.
