  Notes	A funeral service for James J. Lander, of South Main St. will be conducted in the Chamberlin Funeral Home at 2 p.m. today. Mr. Lander died in Dansville Memorial Hospital Saturday (Nov. 24, 1962) following a short illness. He was 81. Born in the Town of Dansville, he was a lifelong resident of this area and was a retired carpenter. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Royal Clemons of Rochester, Mrs. Richard Parry of Dansville and Mrs. Howard Wilcox of Arkport; three sons, Clair of Dansville, Glen of Hornell and Harmon of Culver City, Calif.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Emma Gotschall and a brother, Erwin, both of South Dansville. The Rev. Richard Olsen will officiate. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. (DB, November 27, 1962, p1)
