  Notes	Death of John Hartman. John Hartman of Groveland died on Saturday at the age of 68 years, after an illness of four weeks, from a complication arising from malarial fever. He was born in Dansville and lived here many years when he moved to Groveland and became one of the largest land holders in the town. He was a brother of George Hartman, now living here, and leaves a son and daughter, Lester B. and Kate Hartman. His wife died about two years ago. Mr. Hartman was an excellent business man and a thorough farmer. In 1863-4-5-6-7-8 he represented his town as supervisor and was for some years one of the town assessors. Mr. Hartman was buried in the cemetery in this town on Monday, the funeral being one of the largest. The remains of his wife buried near Scottsburg will be removed and laid by the side of her husband.
