  Notes	Conrad Hamsher who resided on East Hill, died June 28th, aged 75 years and 6 months. His funeral was held at the Kiehle church in Sparta last Monday morning, the Rev. P. A. Strobel of Dansville officiating. The deceased was native of Northampton county, Pa., but removed to this county when quite a boy. He leaves a widow, one son and six daughters. The attendance at the funeral was quite large. (Dansville Advertiser, Thursday July 4, 1878)
