  Notes	William H. Quick Died At Home William H. Quick, 107 North Seventh Street, passed away this morning (February 16, 1950) following a long illness. He was born in Fremont, N.Y., January 22, 1878, and had been a resident of Olean for the past forty-four years. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War, serving with Company K, Third Regiment, New York Volunteers. He had been a retired employee of Clark Brothers Company and, for a time, owned and operated his own trucking business in Olean. Besides his wife, Mrs. Carrie A. Quick, Olean, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ethel Burdett, Hornell, and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Spanish-American Veterans, a life member of the Olean Rod and Gun Club. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. (Times Herald, Olean, NY, 16 Feb 1950)
