  Notes	Fred was living in 1932 on the Old Henry Hartman farm, just north ofthe Lackawanna Depot in Sparta. The old house burned "some yearsago." It was one of the old landmarks of Sparta.(According to Lloyd Moose in 1932) Fred Culbertson Dies, Widely-Known Mason A longtime area farmer and leading fraternal order figure, Fred Culbertson of the Groveland Rd., died in Dansville Memorial Hospital yesterday (May 18, 1966) following a short illness. He was 85. Mr. Culbertson was born in Sparta and lived in this area his entire life. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Culbertson was a 55-year member of Phoenix Lodge 115 F.&.A.M. and was affiliated with Kate J. Jackson Court of Amaranth of which he was a past patron, Deborah Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and the Dansville Grange. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are four sons, Clarence, Howard and Charles of Dansville and Oliver of Geneseo; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Chamberlin Funeral Home where a service will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Robert McKee will officiate. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery (Genesee Country Express, Dansville, Livingston County, New York, Thursday, May 19, 1966)
