DANSVILLE - Norman Lawrence, 51, passed away Easter Sunday (March 27,
2005) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
He was born in Rochester on July 26, 1953, a son of the late Mark and
Hannah Kiehle Lawrence. On Dec. 31, 1983, he was married to the former
Sharon Zigenfus, who survives.
Norm was the shipping clerk for Gunlockes of Wayland, with over 31
years of service. He was a member of the Oddfellows of Hornell, the
Loyal Order of the Moose of Dansville, the Dansville Hook & Ladder
Fire Company and scoutmaster of Troop 58 of Wayland since 1988.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Sharon, are his sons, Brian
(Rebecca) of Livonia and Jeremy of Montour Falls; one sister-in-law,
Jean Lawrence; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at the
Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. An Oddfellow
service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at 10
a.m. Friday, April 1, at the United Methodist Church, Dansville, with
Rev. Jamie Stevens officiating. Interment will be at the convenience
of the family.
