He had been in poor health for some time but was able to be out until about three weeks ago. He was 65 years of age and an old resident of this place. He is survived by two sons and one daughter, Clarence Nichols, of South Dansville, and Julian and Dora, of this place. The funeral was held from the Baptist church at Canaseraga at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. John A. Hubbard of Ossian, officiating. Mr. Nichols will be long remembered for his genial nature and kind disposition. He will be greatly missed in his own home and by the community, where he had many warm friends.
