She was pre-deceased by her husband Harold Bovee on April 7, 1994. She was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church in Dansville. Thelma is survived by her sons Terry (Penny) Bovee of Dansville, Jerry (Hope) Bovee of Mt. Upton, N.Y., and Daniel (Irene) Bovee of LeRoy; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ted Applin of Wayland and Clarence
