- Regis M. Glover, 83, formerly of Arkport, passed away Friday (Oct. 17, 2008) at her son?s home in Dansville.
Born in Canisteo, Sept. 6, 1925, the daughter of Nathan and Margaret (Miller) Broughton, she had been an area resident all of her life. Regis was a member of the Canaseraga Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. She loved her family, cooking and recipes as well as ceramics and painting.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harding, in 2000; one son, Harding (Bud) Glover; three daughters-in-law; one grandson; and one sister, Mary Jane Broughton.
She is survived by four sons, Richard (Sherry) Glover of Dansville, Jack Glover of Arkport, David (Patti) Glover of Delaware and Timothy (Kim) Glover of Maine; two daughters, Cynthia (Jon) Bentley of Angelica and Robin (Marc) Tessier of Belmont; three brothers, Duane (Cloy) Broughton of Hornell, Gerald (Cathy) Broughton of Canaseraga and Loran (Jackie Hunt) Broughton of Canaseraga; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arkport Cemetery.
