Morris was born on July 9, 1930 to the late Jesse and Emmaline (Wellington) Pryor and was adopted by Frank and Geraldine (Partridge )Wellington.He worked as a mechanic for Lamacchia Motors of Hornell. He was predeceased by his wife Helen and four siblings. Morris is survived by his son, Richard (Susan) Wellington of Arkport; two daughters, Cathy (Bernie) Smith of Arkport, and Linda (Mike) Burdett of Concord, N.C.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two nieces. Friends and family may call at the Mann Funeral Home of Canaseraga on Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral will follow on Thursday at the funeral Home at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jess Flint officiating. Burial will be at Arkport Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice in memory of Morris Wellington.
