    • FLOYD MILLER DIES IN HOSPITAL
      Homer - Floyd Miller, 64, of 40 N.Main St., a retired carpenter, died today in the VA Hospital, Syracuse. His wife, Mrs. Dorothy Parker Miller died last summer. Born April 7, 1897 in Almond, N.Y. he was the son of Fred and Vesta Ferrin Miller. He was a member of the Little York Grange. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth M. Cornish of Homer and Mrs. Beatrice Wadsworth of E. Syracuse; a brother Claude Miller of Salt Road, Groton, and six grandchildren. Service will be held 2pm Sunday at Briggs Brothers Memorial Home with Rev James H. Russell, pastor of the Homer Congregational Church, officiating. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at funeral home Saturday 7 to 9 pm.
