  Notes	Eugene was born in Whites Corneres, PA., the son of Floys S. and Leah (Outman) Carpenter. In 1942 Gene married Ruby M. Wyse , they lived in Almond, NY and were the parents of three children. Ruby died in 1988 and Gene moved to Lakeland Fl., where he married Ann Sumner in 1989. Gene was preceeded in death by his wives Ruby and Ann. Daughter Linda (1945), son Gary (1974). He is survived by his daughter Jean (Robert) Brown, two grandsons Andrew and Jeremy Brown, a granddaughter Wendy (Brett) Caulfield and a great-gramdson Cody Ryan Caulfield.
