- COHOCTON - Edith M. Wenner, 62, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 24, 2006, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville after a long illness.
Edith was born June 22, 1944, in Hornell, a daughter of Charles and Constance (Lamphear) Waggoner. She married Peter Wenner on Nov. 4, 1998. He survives. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Lewis Ellis, and a brother, Danny Waggoner.
Edith previously attended the Assembly of God Church in Cohocton. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, truck riding and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Edith is survived by her loving husband Pete; her mother Connie Ells; her children Tonya (Fred) Parsons, Philip Scott (Christine) Hickey and Katrina (David) Wilkinson; her grandchildren Rickie, Jessica, Nathaniel, Hunter, Savannah and Alexander Parsons, Danielle and Anthony Lovullo, Aaron Hickey, and Michaela, Joseph, Dakota and Destiny Wilkin-son; her sisters Jeanie (Richard) Koehler, Valerie (Ward) Reamer and Sharon Waggoner; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends called 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 100 E. Naples St., Wayland, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Springwater.
