  Notes	Bernard came from Dorchester in old England and was one of the first settlers of Dorchester,MA. He was granted land in Aug 1633 and built a large house, which was still standing as of 1928, it was considered one of the oldest homes in New England. In 1909 the house was moved to Milton,MA. Bernard died in 1638 and was buried in the old North Burial Ground, his original gravestone has been preserved by the New England Historical and Genealogical Society, in Boston.
