  Notes	Mrs. Viola H. Hamsher of 90 Main St. died Tuesday (Mar. 27, 1979) in her home after a long illness. She was 64. Mrs. Hamsher was born in Binghamton and was a graduate of Binghamton High School and the former Rochester Dental Dispensary School of Dental Hygiene. She had lived in Dansville since 1946 and worked with her husband, Dr. Robert Hamsher, D.D.S., as a dental hygienist until illness forced her to retire a month ago. She was a member of the Daniel Goho American Legion Post Auxiliary, a charter member and emeritus director of the Dansville Area Historical Society, a former member of the Eastern Star chapter in Dansville and a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Hamsher was also active in Girl Scout and Cub Scout organizations. Surviving besides Dr. Hamsher are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Joann) Gilbert and Mrs. John (Sandra) Dobbins, both of Dover, Del.; a brother, John Jones of Binghamton; a sister, Mrs. Albert (Audrey) Rood of Binghamton; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted this afternoon at 2 O'Clock in St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg with arrangements by the Chamberlin Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or St. Peter's Church. (GCE, March 29, 1979, p4)
